Price Guide 2010
Thursday, January 28th, 2010Pricing Process & Guide 2010
We think the hardest part about planning a wedding is setting your budget and then finding the right vendors to create your vision. Every detail is on such a large scale that it can really be overwhelming and sometimes foreign unless you are working with a seasoned coordinator. There really is no formula or % for each category. Each couple is unique in their style and order of priorities. Blossoms Atlanta is known for being inventive and flexible without compromising quality or service over pricing. You can see how all of our designs are photo “close up “ perfect. That means the world to us. Not all florists have such high standards.
When you come for a complimentary design session we learn about you, your tastes, your needs & your budget. We stylize each detail and present it in a contract that is clearly priced out line by line. It is enormously hard to put together a quote without knowing your budget. There are thousands of combinations at different price points and we don’t want to sell you on an idea that is out of your budget. You rely upon us as experts to design your dream wedding within your budget. You can bring us ideas that you see in Martha Stewart & Grace Ormond Magazine for example, and we can copy it exactly or scale it down both offering the best quality and pricing available. Bottom line. Your budget is what it is..and I respect that. We have worked with Brides with a guest list of 25 to 800 . Each one is treated and valued the same.
After the complimentary design session that is when the work begins. Buying can be a difficult task unless you have great relationships with the growers as we do. There are a lot of factors involved in
the pricing of your wedding flowers and decor. In the last year the wholesale price of flowers has gone up. We will only work with the freshest most beautiful blooms. We use an expert team of designers & delivery people to service your wedding. You know the old saying” You get what you pay for in life.” It’s True ! This is what separates a professional from a hobbyist.
The average person does not think about the detailed process that it takes to create your wedding flowers and decor . There is a lot of physical work before the designing even begins The flowers come in “raw” so to speak. We have to process them and open each variety without them bruising or wilting. Each rose for instance has their thorns and several guard petals that are damaged and must be removed. They come in with a very tight head and are opened to the preference of the designer and client. Each variety has its own process. Then the equipment has to be cleaned. You cannot have wax or finger prints on glassware, wrinkles in the fabric… Then it is all put together with the care of embracing that this is one of the most important days of your life. We then get it delivered & set up on time, fresh and beautiful. We then sometimes have room flips where the flowers need to moved or designed on the spot within very tight time constraints. Then we come back at the end of the evening to pick up all of our equipment. It is then cleaned again and put back into inventory.
We value each couple we work with and make a personal investment & connection that results in creating your dream wedding. From the time we meet you, create your decor and walk away at the end of the day it is an artistic process that comes full circle and is hugely gratifying. We are blessed to see the memorable difference we have made in your life. We have a true passion for what we do and are very good at it. Nothing is more rewarding to us . I hope this gives you a better understanding of the process as well as the people behind Blossoms Atlanta.
We have listed below ballpark prices to help you in setting your budget. Please remember that your final numbers are determined by the types of flowers, exact number of flowers, types of equipment, how many vehicles and expert designers are needed to make your day perfect. We would love the opportunity to show you what we can create for your unique dream wedding.
